WEARTUF 400
Feature
WearTuf 400 It is a hardened or quenched + tempered full martensitic wear-resistant steel plate, with a typical Brinell hardness of 400 HBW. WearTuf 400 wear-resistant steel plate has a wide range of uses, and at the same time has good wear resistance, weldability and cold forming properties. High impact toughness gives the steel plate good crack resistance during manufacturing and use.
Application
WearTuf 400 can be widely used in traditional soil transportation, mining and transportation equipment, such as buckets, dump trucks, crushers, hammers, conveyors and other mining transportation equipment. WearTuf 400 is available for thin and wide size steel plates, so it can meet the requirements of customers for lightweight design and application.
Size
WearTuf 400 Available thickness range is 4.0-50.0 mm. Depending on the thickness of the steel plate, the width can reach 3100 mm and the length can reach 18000 mm.
Hardness guarantee value
Surface hardness: 370-430 HBW
According to the standard EN ISO 6506-1, the surface Brinell hardness test is carried out after the surface of the steel plate is milled to a depth of 0.5-2.0 mm.
Minimum core hardness:
WearTuf abrasion-resistant steel plate is through-hardened, minimum core hardness is 90% of the guaranteed minimum surface hardness. *The core hardness is defined as the mean hardness over the plate central area, corresponding to 25% of the total thickness.
Typical value of impact toughness:
50J(-20℃),45J(-40℃)
Impact testing:The impact testing is performed in longitudinal direction to rolling for plate with thickness not less than 6 mm, according to EN ISO 148-1,average of three tests. For plate with thickness between 6 mm and 11.9mm,sub-sized Charpy V-specimens are used. The value of impact energy at -20℃ is listed on the product certificate.
