WearTuf 450 is a full martensitic wear-resistant steel plate that has been quenched or quenched + tempered, with a typical Brinell hardness of 450 HBW. WearTuf 450 wear-resistant steel plate also has good wear resistance, weldability and cold forming properties. Due to the high impact toughness, the steel plate has good crack resistance during manufacturing and use.
WearTuf 450 can be widely used in various types of applications, such as muck transportation, mining industry and transportation equipment. WearTuf 450 can meet the needs of customers for lightweight design and application of equipment, such as road and off-highway dump trucks, mining dump trucks, open top containers, concrete mixer trucks and garbage collection trucks.
WearTuf 450 can be supplied in a thickness range of 3.0-60.0 mm. Depending on the thickness of the steel plate, the width can reach 3100 mm and the length can reach 18000 mm.

According to the standard EN ISO 6506-1, the surface Brinell hardness test should be carried out after the surface of the steel plate is milled to a depth of 0.5-2.0 mm.
Minimum center hardness:
Steel plate thickness ≤20 mm: minimum guaranteed value of surface hardness, 425 HBW
Steel plate thickness> 20 mm: 95% of the minimum guaranteed value of surface hardness (*)
Typical value of impact toughness:
45J1-40C (-40F )
