WearTuf 500 is a full martensitic wear-resistant steel plate that has been quenched or quenched + tempered, with a typical Brinell hardness of 500 HBW. WearTuf 500 has very high wear resistance and good weldability and cold formability. Not only is the hardness very high, WearTuf 500 also has good impact toughness, ensuring that it has satisfactory crack resistance during manufacturing and use.
WearTuf 500 is mainly used in mining, ore and recycling industries. Common uses include: heavy-duty mining trucks and dump trucks, buckets, shovel blades, breakers, crushers, crushers, sieve plates and various wear-resistant liner parts.
WearTuf 500 is available in a thickness range of 4.0-50.0 mm. Depending on the thickness of the steel plate, the width can reach 3100 mm and the length can reach 18000 mm.

Surface hardness: 470-530 HBW
According to EN ISO 6506-1, the surface Brinell hardness test should be carried out after the surface of the steel plate is milled to a depth of 0.5-2.0 mm.
Minimum center hardness:
Steel plate thickness ≤20 mm: minimum guaranteed value of surface hardness, 470 HBW
Steel plate thickness> 20 mm: 95% of the minimum guaranteed value of surface hardness (*)
Typical value of impact toughness:
According to the standard EN ISO 148-1, three full-size V-groove impact samples (10X10 mm2) parallel to the rolling direction are tested at -40C, and the average value of their impact energy is obtained as the impact toughness of the steel plate (**) .
